Kinder Prep (4 years old, entering Kindergarten or TK the following year):

  Students expand on their preschool experience. The focus of this program is to prepare the child for kindergarten the following year. Students will dive deeper into numbers, letters, and sounds. Students will engage in the Heggerty program for phonemic awareness. We will also begin to learn sight words and cover Concepts of Print. More preparation for writing will be incorporated into the themes explored throughout the year. Students in this class also participate in graduation at the end of the year. Kindergarten Prep meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Class size is limited to 7 students per class (student number 7 defined as “school age”). We follow the Brentwood Union School District calendar, except for the start and end date.
